Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Equity Research Analyst with 2-3 years of experience to join our growing team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background (B.Tech/B.E.) and a keen interest in the agriculture sector. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis of companies within the agriculture, forestry, and fishing industries, providing valuable insights to support investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct fundamental analysis of publicly traded companies in the agriculture, forestry, and fishing sectors, including financial statement analysis, valuation modeling, and industry trend assessment.
Develop and maintain detailed financial models (DCF, LBO, comps, etc.) to project future financial performance and derive intrinsic value.
Research and monitor macroeconomic trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes impacting the target industries.
Prepare comprehensive research reports, investment recommendations, and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients.
Collaborate with senior analysts and portfolio managers to identify investment opportunities and risks.
Stay updated on industry news, company announcements, and market developments.
