Role Summary: The Equity Research Analyst will be responsible for conducting in-depth financial analysis and valuation of publicly traded companies within the Hotels & Restaurants sector, with a particular focus on the Indian market. This role requires a strong understanding of financial modeling, industry trends, and competitive landscapes to provide actionable investment recommendations to portfolio managers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive financial modeling, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis (CCA), and precedent transaction analysis (PTA).
- Analyze financial statements, earnings reports, and other relevant data to identify key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain valuation models for companies in the Hotels & Restaurants sector, including hotel chains, restaurant groups, and related businesses.
- Monitor industry developments, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic factors impacting the sector.
- Prepare detailed research reports, investment recommendations, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Engage with company management teams, industry experts, and sell-side analysts to gather information and insights.
- Stay abreast of current market conditions and investor sentiment related to the Hotels & Restaurants industry in India.
