Equity Research Analyst - Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Equity Research Analyst to join our dedicated Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive research, financial modeling, and valuation of public companies within the biotech, pharma, and medtech industries. You will develop investment theses, write research reports, and present findings to clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory developments.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow projections.
- Perform valuation analysis using various methodologies (DCF, multiples, etc.).
- Write clear, concise, and insightful research reports and notes.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to internal teams and external clients.
- Respond to client inquiries and provide ad-hoc research support.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA, PhD) or CFA designation is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in equity research, investment banking, or a related financial analysis role, preferably with a focus on healthcare.
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv).
- Passion for the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry.
