Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced ETL Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The ETL Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining robust ETL processes to support our data warehousing and business intelligence initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of data integration, database technologies, and best practices in data management within the financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using various ETL tools and technologies.
- Extract data from diverse sources (databases, flat files, APIs) and transform it into a usable format for analysis.
- Load transformed data into data warehouses, data marts, and other target systems.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and scripts for data manipulation and analysis.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL processes, data quality, and performance.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Optimize ETL jobs for performance and scalability.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes and data models.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security throughout the data lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
