ETO / Electrical Engineer

Role Summary: HOK India is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer (ETO) to join our dynamic team. The ETO will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for various architectural and interior design projects across India. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, building codes, and project management within the context of the Indian market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and review electrical system designs, including power distribution, lighting, earthing, and low-voltage systems, adhering to Indian Standards (IS) and relevant codes.
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications using CAD software.
• Conduct site inspections and surveys to assess existing electrical infrastructure and identify project requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and other engineering disciplines to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into project designs.
• Manage electrical project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and building codes in India.
• Perform load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and short circuit calculations.
• Review vendor submittals and ensure the quality of electrical equipment and materials.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during the construction and commissioning phases.
