Exploration and Production Director

Role Summary: The Exploration and Production Director will lead and oversee all upstream oil and gas exploration and production activities for our burgeoning energy division. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of geological exploration, reservoir engineering, drilling operations, and production optimization within the Indian context. The Director will be instrumental in identifying new exploration opportunities, managing existing fields, and driving operational excellence to maximize resource recovery and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive exploration strategies to identify and acquire new oil and gas reserves in India.

Oversee all aspects of field development, drilling, and completion operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Manage reservoir engineering activities, including performance monitoring, production forecasting, and enhanced oil recovery (EOR) initiatives.

Lead and mentor a team of geoscientists, reservoir engineers, drilling engineers, and production staff.

Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations in India.

Collaborate with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and joint venture partners.

Manage budgets, capital expenditure, and operational costs for the E&P division.

Stay abreast of the latest technologies and best practices in exploration and production.
