Exploration Manager

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Exploration Manager to lead our exploration initiatives within the Indian pulp and paper sector. This role will be responsible for identifying and evaluating new opportunities for raw material sourcing, land acquisition for plantations, and potential new manufacturing sites, aligning with the company's growth objectives and sustainability goals. The Exploration Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring a secure and sustainable supply chain for our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive exploration strategies for identifying new forest resources and potential plantation lands across India.
- Conduct feasibility studies and due diligence for potential land acquisitions, including legal, environmental, and social impact assessments.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory landscapes to identify strategic opportunities and risks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders to facilitate land acquisition and resource development.
- Oversee the planning and execution of exploration projects, including resource assessment, mapping, and data analysis.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Supply Chain, Operations, Legal, Sustainability) to ensure alignment and successful project implementation.
- Manage budgets and resources allocated for exploration activities.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on exploration findings and recommendations for senior management.
- Ensure all exploration activities comply with environmental regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
