Export / Import Executive for B.Com Graduates (3-4 Yrs)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Export / Import Executive with 3-4 years of experience and a B.Com background to join our dynamic team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of international trade operations, ensuring smooth import and export processes for our hotel properties.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage day-to-day export and import activities, including documentation, customs clearance, and logistics.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant international trade regulations, customs laws, and company policies.
- Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and other third-party service providers.
- Prepare and process all necessary import/export documentation, such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
- Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
- Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve any issues or delays.
- Maintain accurate records of all import and export transactions.
- Assist in negotiating shipping rates and terms with vendors.
- Stay updated on changes in trade regulations and tariffs.
- Support the finance department with reconciliation of import/export related invoices.
