Export / Import Manager

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Export/Import Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of our international trade operations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, optimize shipping processes, and foster strong relationships with stakeholders to facilitate efficient import and export activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day export and import operations, including documentation, customs clearance, and freight forwarding.

Ensure compliance with all Indian and international trade laws, regulations, and customs procedures.

Negotiate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and other service providers to secure competitive rates and service levels.

Prepare and review import/export documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.

Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., sales, procurement, logistics) to ensure smooth execution of trade transactions.

Monitor shipment status and proactively address any delays or issues.

Maintain accurate records of all import/export activities and generate regular reports.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction in import/export operations.
