Fashion Designer

Role Summary:
We are seeking a creative and innovative Fashion Designer to join our team at Alstom India. This role will be responsible for designing and developing aesthetic and functional aspects of train interiors, focusing on passenger comfort, brand identity, and modern design trends within the railway industry. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate conceptual ideas into tangible design solutions for our rolling stock projects in India.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative and appealing interior design concepts for railway coaches, considering ergonomics, passenger experience, and material selection.
• Create detailed design specifications, sketches, mood boards, and 3D models to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Research and identify emerging trends in fashion, interior design, and transportation aesthetics to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with engineering, product development, and marketing teams to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and align with brand guidelines.
• Select appropriate materials, fabrics, finishes, and color palettes that meet safety regulations, durability requirements, and aesthetic goals.
• Prepare and present design proposals to stakeholders, incorporating feedback and making necessary revisions.
• Ensure designs comply with Indian railway standards and passenger safety regulations.
