Role Summary:
We are seeking a creative and technically proficient Fashion Designer with an M.Tech degree to join our innovative team in the Oil & Gas sector. This role will focus on developing and designing specialized technical apparel, safety gear, and branded merchandise that meets the stringent requirements of the industry while incorporating modern design principles. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of material science, ergonomics, and user experience, combined with a unique perspective on functional fashion. Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, design, and develop technical garments and personal protective equipment (PPE) for ONGC personnel, adhering to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Create innovative designs for workwear, uniforms, and promotional apparel, ensuring functionality, durability, and brand consistency.
- Conduct research on advanced materials, textile technologies, and manufacturing processes relevant to the Oil & Gas industry.
- Collaborate with engineering and safety teams to ensure designs meet performance specifications and user comfort.
- Develop technical sketches, patterns, and prototypes for new product development.
- Manage the sampling and production process, working closely with suppliers and manufacturers.
- Prepare design presentations and documentation for internal stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in fashion, industrial design, and material innovation.
