Job Description

Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and organized Finance Executive to join our team at Pratham Education Foundation. The Finance Executive will be responsible for supporting the finance department in various accounting and financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies and regulations. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health and transparency of our educational programs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in daily accounting tasks, including data entry, reconciliation of accounts, and preparation of financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Support in budget preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of grant reports and donor financial updates.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and support their financial needs.
- Contribute to process improvements within the finance department.
