Job Description
Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Finance Project Head to oversee and manage all financial aspects of major railway infrastructure projects undertaken by IRCON International Limited in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, cost control, risk management, and ensuring the financial viability and profitability of projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies for assigned railway projects.
- Prepare detailed project budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
- Monitor project expenditures against budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage project cash flows, working capital, and funding requirements.
- Oversee contract management and ensure compliance with financial terms and conditions.
- Conduct financial risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including banks, financial institutions, and government agencies.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to senior management and relevant authorities.
- Implement and maintain robust internal financial controls and procedures.
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals supporting project operations.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support project decision-making.
