Role Summary:
HDFC Bank is seeking a diligent and experienced Financial Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the accounting operations of the bank, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial reporting and transactions. This role requires a strong understanding of banking regulations and accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), IFRS, and other relevant regulations.
- Manage general ledger functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to provide insights to management.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance.
