Financial Analyst

Role Summary:
Bata India Limited is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our finance team. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing critical financial insights, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis within a corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning.
- Analyze financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods, identifying key drivers of variance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process by collaborating with various departments.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations for senior management and the board of directors.
- Monitor key financial metrics and provide actionable insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and financial regulations.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis as required to support business initiatives.
