Job Description
Role Summary: The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the bank, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of the BFSI sector in India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the bank's financial strategies and policies.
- Oversee the preparation of all financial statements and regulatory reports in compliance with Indian accounting standards and RBI guidelines.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing accurate financial projections.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard bank assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial laws and regulations in India.
