Role Summary:
As a Financial Crime professional at Wipro, you will be instrumental in safeguarding our organization and clients from financial crime risks. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring strategies to prevent, detect, and respond to financial crime activities, including fraud, money laundering, and corruption. This role requires a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and a proactive approach to risk management within the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement robust financial crime prevention policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential financial crime threats.
• Monitor transactions and customer activities for suspicious patterns indicative of fraud, money laundering, or other illicit activities.
• Investigate flagged transactions and suspicious activities, gathering evidence and documenting findings.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Legal, Compliance, Operations) to address financial crime risks.
• Stay abreast of evolving financial crime typologies, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.
• Assist in the development and delivery of financial crime awareness training programs.
• Prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies on financial crime risks and mitigation efforts.
