Role Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Financial Crime Investigator to join our team in Mumbai. This role is crucial in safeguarding ITC Limited's assets and reputation by identifying, investigating, and preventing financial crime activities. You will work within a dynamic environment, applying your analytical skills to detect suspicious transactions and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks. This position is ideal for individuals with 1-6 years of experience who possess strong investigative instincts and a keen eye for detail, regardless of formal graduation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze transactions and data to identify potential instances of fraud, money laundering, and other financial crimes.
- Conduct thorough investigations into suspicious activities, gathering evidence and documenting findings.
- Prepare detailed reports on investigation outcomes for management and relevant authorities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Legal, Compliance, Operations) to address identified risks and implement preventive measures.
- Stay updated on evolving financial crime typologies, regulatory changes, and best practices in the Indian context.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of financial crime detection systems and processes.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and ethical conduct throughout all investigations.
- Support the implementation of anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) policies and procedures.
