Fire Guard

Role Summary: We are seeking a diligent and safety-conscious Fire Guard with a B.Com background and 3-5 years of experience to join our team in Kochi. The Fire Guard will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our electronics manufacturing facility by implementing and monitoring fire prevention measures, emergency response protocols, and maintaining compliance with all relevant safety regulations. Your understanding of financial and operational aspects from your B.Com degree will be valuable in managing safety budgets and resources effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify potential fire hazards and ensure compliance with safety codes.

Develop and implement fire prevention plans and emergency response procedures.

Maintain and inspect fire safety equipment, including fire extinguishers, alarms, and sprinkler systems.

Conduct fire safety training for employees and ensure awareness of evacuation procedures.

Respond to fire alarms and emergencies, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of personnel.

Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, training, and safety equipment maintenance.

Assist in the development and management of the safety department's budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness in safety measures.

Liaise with local fire authorities and ensure the facility meets all regulatory requirements.

Stay updated on the latest fire safety regulations and best practices relevant to the electronics manufacturing industry.
