First Purser

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented First Purser to manage and oversee the financial and administrative operations onboard our vessels and project sites. The First Purser will be responsible for managing cash, inventory, crew welfare, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. This role requires exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain cash on hand, including currency exchange and petty cash.

Oversee the inventory of onboard supplies, including provisions, stores, and duty-free items.

Handle crew payroll, advances, and remittances.

Act as a point of contact for crew welfare and address any concerns or grievances.

Ensure accurate record-keeping and timely submission of financial reports.

Coordinate with ship's officers and shore-based management on administrative matters.

Maintain compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and international maritime laws.

Assist with passenger or client relations as required.

Manage communication systems and ensure efficient information flow.
