Fitter / Turner

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Fitter/Turner to join our manufacturing and operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing precision metal parts and components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining principles and the ability to work with various machine tools.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering specifications to determine material requirements and dimensions.
- Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce precision metal parts.
- Fit and assemble components and sub-assemblies to meet exact tolerances and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
- Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Fabricate and repair tools, jigs, fixtures, and dies.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
