Fitter / Turner (3-4 Yrs) for Hidesign

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fitter / Turner with 3-4 years of experience and a B.Sc degree to join our manufacturing unit in Thane. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and maintaining precision components and equipment used in the leather goods production process. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical principles and the ability to work with various materials and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate conventional machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinding machines to produce precision parts and components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, and sequence of operations.
- Fabricate, fit, and assemble metal parts and subassemblies using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues that arise during the production process.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to improve processes and product quality.
