Fitter / Turner (3-4 Yrs) in Leather

We are seeking a skilled Fitter / Turner with 3-4 years of experience to join our manufacturing team in Guwahati. The ideal candidate will possess an M.Sc degree and have a strong understanding of precision fitting and turning operations within the leather industry. This role is crucial for maintaining and improving our production machinery efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate and maintain various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce precision parts.
* Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to fabricate components.
* Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of manufacturing equipment and machinery.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to ensure optimal performance.
* Fabricate, fit, and assemble custom parts and components for leather processing machinery.
* Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.
* Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve technical challenges.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the workshop.
* Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
