Role Summary: We are seeking a proactive and organized Fleet / Transport Manager with 1-2 years of experience and a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and cost-effective management of our company's fleet and transportation operations in Coimbatore. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong logistical and administrative skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the company's vehicle fleet, ensuring compliance with all regulations and safety standards.
Plan and optimize transportation routes for maximum efficiency and cost savings.
Coordinate with drivers and dispatch personnel to ensure timely and safe delivery of services/personnel.
Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules, repairs, and fuel management.
Maintain accurate records of fleet operations, including mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance costs.
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to fleet management.
Liaise with external vendors for vehicle procurement, insurance, and repairs.
Utilize analytical skills to identify areas for improvement in fleet operations.
