Fleet / Transport Manager

Role Summary: The Fleet / Transport Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's vehicle fleet, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective transportation operations across all Indian properties. This role is crucial for maintaining seamless logistics for guest services, staff transportation, and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement fleet management strategies to optimize operational efficiency and cost savings.
• Manage the procurement, maintenance, and disposal of all company vehicles.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards across India.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules, repairs, and servicing to minimize downtime.
• Manage fuel consumption, track mileage, and implement fuel-saving initiatives.
• Coordinate with various departments to meet their transportation needs.
• Supervise and train fleet drivers and support staff.
• Maintain accurate fleet records, including vehicle registration, insurance, and maintenance history.
• Develop and manage the fleet budget, ensuring adherence to financial targets.
• Implement and monitor GPS tracking systems for fleet management and security.
• Respond to and manage vehicle breakdowns and accidents effectively.
