Fleet / Transport Manager

Role Summary: The Fleet / Transport Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's transportation fleet, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations across all our Indian properties. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong operational capabilities to support our extensive hotel and restaurant network.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement fleet management strategies to optimize vehicle utilization and minimize operational costs.

Manage the procurement, maintenance, and disposal of all company vehicles, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Oversee the scheduling and dispatch of vehicles and drivers to ensure timely service delivery for guests and operational needs.

Ensure all fleet operations adhere to safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.

Implement and manage a robust vehicle maintenance program, including regular inspections, repairs, and servicing.

Manage driver performance, training, and licensing, ensuring a high standard of professionalism and safety.

Monitor fuel consumption, insurance, and other fleet-related expenses, identifying opportunities for cost savings.

Utilize fleet management software and technology to track assets, monitor performance, and generate reports.

Liaise with internal departments (e.g., Operations, Housekeeping, F&B) to understand and meet their transportation requirements.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, service providers, and regulatory bodies.
