Fleet / Transport Manager Job Opportunity - Urban Transport (1-2 Yrs)

Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fleet / Transport Manager with 1-2 years of experience and a B.A. degree to join our dynamic team in Chandigarh. You will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of our fleet, ensuring optimal utilization, maintenance, and compliance with all relevant regulations. This role is crucial for maintaining the seamless flow of our urban transport services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the transport fleet, including scheduling, routing, and dispatch.
- Monitor fleet performance, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Manage driver schedules, performance, and provide necessary training.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule and track vehicle repairs and servicing.
- Maintain accurate records of fleet activities, including mileage, fuel usage, and repair costs.
- Respond to and resolve any transportation-related issues or emergencies promptly.
- Implement and improve operational procedures to enhance fleet efficiency and safety.
- Collaborate with other departments to meet transportation demands.
