Fleet / Transport Manager role for 2-3 Yrs in Insurance

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fleet / Transport Manager with 2-3 years of experience to join our team in Pune. This role is ideal for a candidate with a Master of Design (M.Des) degree who can leverage their analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize our fleet operations and transportation logistics within the insurance sector. You will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective management of our vehicle fleet and associated transportation activities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies for efficient fleet management, including vehicle acquisition, maintenance scheduling, and disposal.
- Oversee daily transportation operations, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods and personnel.
- Analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement in fuel efficiency, cost reduction, and operational effectiveness.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, vendors, and service partners.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Utilize design thinking principles to propose innovative solutions for logistical challenges.
- Prepare regular reports on fleet status, operational costs, and performance metrics for senior management.
- Conduct risk assessments related to fleet operations and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage vehicle insurance claims and ensure proper documentation.
