Food Safety Compliance Specialist

Role Summary: The Food Safety Compliance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all food-related software products developed and offered by Infosys adhere to the highest standards of food safety regulations and compliance within the Indian market. This role involves collaborating with product development teams, legal, and quality assurance to integrate food safety requirements into the software lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive food safety policies and procedures for software products, aligning with FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) regulations and international standards.
• Conduct risk assessments related to food safety within software functionalities, such as ingredient tracking, allergen management, and traceability features.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to ensure food safety requirements are integrated into the software design and development lifecycle.
• Monitor changes in food safety legislation and standards in India and globally, and update internal policies and product features accordingly.
• Provide training and guidance to internal teams on food safety best practices and regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with external regulatory bodies, auditors, and certification agencies as needed.
• Review and approve product documentation related to food safety claims and compliance statements.
