Food Safety Officer

Role Summary:
Hidesign is seeking a dedicated Food Safety Officer to ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and standards across our product lines that may involve food-grade materials or processing. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our products and upholding our commitment to quality and consumer safety. The Food Safety Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring food safety protocols within the company's operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive food safety management systems (FSMS) aligned with national and international standards (e.g., FSSAI regulations).
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of production facilities, storage areas, and supply chain partners to ensure adherence to food safety protocols.
• Monitor and analyze food safety data, identify potential risks, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage product recalls and withdrawals if necessary, ensuring prompt and effective communication and action.
• Train employees on food safety best practices, hygiene standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, government agencies, and external auditors on food safety matters.
• Stay updated on the latest food safety legislation, scientific advancements, and industry trends.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to food safety compliance.
