Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Foreman / Technician with 2-3 years of experience and an M.Sc degree to join our team in Mangalore. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our power generation facilities within the Government / Public Administration sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for contributing to India's energy infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of skilled and semi-skilled technicians during routine operations, maintenance, and repair activities.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, operational procedures, and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to identify potential issues and implement preventive maintenance measures.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and provide effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of major maintenance projects.
  • Communicate effectively with management, engineers, and other team members.
  • Provide on-the-job training and guidance to junior technicians.
