Forex Manager

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Forex Manager to oversee and manage the foreign exchange operations for UPL Limited in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing currency risks, optimizing foreign exchange transactions, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of global financial markets, hedging strategies, and treasury operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective foreign exchange strategies to mitigate currency risks associated with international trade and investments.
- Monitor global currency markets and economic indicators to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Execute foreign exchange transactions, including spot, forward, and options contracts, in accordance with company policies and risk appetite.
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions for forex services and competitive pricing.
- Ensure compliance with RBI regulations, FEMA guidelines, and other relevant foreign exchange laws.
- Prepare regular reports on forex exposures, hedging effectiveness, and market outlook for senior management.
- Collaborate with finance, treasury, and business units to understand their forex needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Optimize cash flow management and repatriation of funds.
- Conduct financial analysis related to forex transactions and their impact on profitability.
