Forklift Operator

Role Summary: We are seeking a diligent and experienced Forklift Operator to join our logistics team at Apollo Hospitals. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count inventory within our medical supply chain. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of medical supplies and equipment to various departments, maintaining inventory accuracy and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to load and unload materials from trucks, shelves, and other storage areas.
• Transport raw materials, finished goods, and equipment within the facility.
• Identify and report damaged goods, discrepancies, or safety hazards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring aisles and work areas are free of obstructions.
• Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies regarding forklift operation and material handling.
• Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counting and stock rotation.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff and other departments to ensure efficient workflow.
