Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Formulation Scientist to join our dynamic team. The Formulation Scientist will be responsible for developing and optimizing new ink and coating formulations for our advanced printing and packaging applications. This role requires a deep understanding of material science, chemistry, and printing processes, with a focus on creating sustainable and high-performance solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and develop novel ink and coating formulations for various printing technologies (e.g., flexography, gravure, offset, digital).
- Evaluate and select raw materials, considering performance, cost, and environmental impact.
- Conduct laboratory experiments to test and optimize formulation properties such as viscosity, color, adhesion, rub resistance, and drying time.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality control teams to ensure successful scale-up and commercialization of new formulations.
- Analyze competitive products and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Troubleshoot formulation-related issues in production and provide technical support.
- Maintain accurate records of experiments, results, and formulations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations.
