FPGA Engineer

Role Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated FPGA Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of FPGA-based solutions for our advanced process control systems and instrumentation within the chemical industry. This role requires a strong understanding of digital design, hardware description languages, and embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and verify FPGA logic using VHDL or Verilog for real-time control and data acquisition systems.
- Develop and maintain FPGA firmware, including state machines, data paths, and communication interfaces.
- Perform timing analysis and optimization to meet performance requirements.
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate FPGA solutions into larger systems.
- Develop and execute test plans for FPGA designs, including simulation, hardware testing, and debugging.
- Contribute to the entire FPGA development lifecycle, from requirements definition to production deployment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest FPGA technologies and industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to FPGA hardware and firmware.
