Role Summary: The Fraud Analyst will be responsible for identifying, investigating, and preventing fraudulent activities across various banking channels. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work with large datasets to detect anomalies and patterns indicative of fraud.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor real-time transactions and customer activities for suspicious patterns and potential fraud.
Investigate escalated alerts and cases of suspected fraud, gathering evidence and documenting findings.
Utilize fraud detection tools and systems to analyze data and identify emerging fraud trends.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Operations, IT, Customer Service) to resolve fraud cases and implement preventive measures.
Develop and recommend improvements to fraud detection rules, policies, and procedures.
Prepare reports on fraud trends, case outcomes, and key performance indicators for management.
Stay updated on the latest fraud schemes, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
