Job Description

Role Summary: As a Fraud Detection / Prevention Analyst at ONGC's Bangalore office, you will be instrumental in safeguarding the company's assets and financial integrity by identifying, analyzing, and mitigating fraudulent activities across various business operations. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with a strong analytical mindset and a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) degree, possessing 3-5 years of relevant experience in fraud prevention or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement fraud detection models and rules using data analytics and statistical techniques.

Monitor transactions and business processes for suspicious patterns and anomalies indicative of fraud.

Investigate identified fraudulent activities, gather evidence, and prepare detailed reports for management and relevant authorities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and operations, to enhance fraud prevention strategies and controls.

Stay updated on emerging fraud trends, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements in the oil and gas sector.

Utilize data visualization tools to present findings and insights effectively.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of fraud detection systems and processes.
