Fraud Detection / Prevention Specialist

Role Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and analytical Fraud Detection / Prevention Specialist to join our team in India. This role will be instrumental in safeguarding our financial assets and brand reputation by identifying, investigating, and mitigating fraudulent activities across various business operations within the Indian market. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of fraud typologies, risk assessment, and control implementation within the food processing and FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement robust fraud detection strategies and systems tailored to the Indian business environment.
- Monitor transactions, data, and operational processes to identify suspicious patterns and potential fraud indicators.
- Conduct in-depth investigations into suspected fraudulent activities, gathering evidence and documenting findings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, and IT, to address fraud risks and implement preventive measures.
- Analyze fraud trends and provide regular reports to management on fraud risks, incidents, and control effectiveness.
- Stay updated on emerging fraud schemes and regulatory changes relevant to the food processing industry in India.
- Design and deliver fraud awareness training programs to employees.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance internal controls and reduce vulnerabilities to fraud.
- Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to uncover hidden fraud patterns and anomalies.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as law enforcement agencies and payment processors, when necessary.
