Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Credit Manager with 1-3 years of experience and an LLB degree to join our finance team in Indore. The Credit Manager will be responsible for assessing creditworthiness, managing credit risk, and ensuring timely collection of payments from clients within the chemical industry. This role requires a strong understanding of legal frameworks related to credit and debt recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing clients by analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data.
Develop and implement credit policies and procedures in compliance with company guidelines and legal regulations.
Negotiate credit terms and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
Monitor accounts receivable and proactively identify and mitigate potential credit risks.
Manage the collection process for overdue accounts, including initiating legal actions when necessary, leveraging LLB knowledge.
Collaborate with sales and legal departments to resolve credit-related issues and disputes.
Prepare regular reports on credit exposure, collection performance, and potential risks for management.
