Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Network Engineer with 3-4 years of experience to join our dynamic team at our Coimbatore facility. This role is crucial for maintaining and optimizing our company's network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and robust security for our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess a B.Tech/B.E. degree and a strong understanding of networking principles and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and wireless networks.
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for optimization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, including connectivity problems, hardware failures, and software malfunctions.
- Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
- Ensure network security by implementing and managing firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Perform regular network audits and security assessments.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate network infrastructure with other systems.
- Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Provide technical support to end-users for network-related issues.
- Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and best practices.
