We are seeking a creative and talented Game Designer to join our team. The Game Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing engaging and immersive gaming experiences, with a focus on defence and aerospace simulation and training applications. This role requires a blend of artistic vision, technical understanding, and a passion for creating compelling interactive narratives and gameplay mechanics. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, artists, and subject matter experts to bring these experiences to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and design core gameplay mechanics, systems, and features for defence and aerospace simulation games.
• Develop detailed game design documents (GDDs), including narrative, level design, character design, and user interface (UI) / user experience (UX) flows.
• Create compelling storylines, mission scenarios, and character backstories relevant to defence and aerospace contexts.
• Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces and user experiences that enhance player immersion and usability.
• Collaborate with 3D artists, animators, and sound designers to translate design concepts into tangible game assets.
• Work with software engineers to implement game mechanics and systems, ensuring design integrity and technical feasibility.
• Conduct playtesting sessions, gather feedback, and iterate on game designs to improve player engagement and satisfaction.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in game design, simulation, and virtual reality (VR) / augmented reality (AR).
• Ensure designs align with project goals, technical constraints, and subject matter expert (SME) requirements.
