Role Summary:
We are seeking a creative and innovative Game Designer to join our team. This role will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing engaging and effective game-based experiences for medical training, patient education, and therapeutic applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex medical concepts into intuitive and fun gameplay mechanics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and design core gameplay mechanics, rules, and systems for medical simulation games.
- Develop game narratives, storylines, and character development that align with educational or therapeutic objectives.
- Create detailed design documents, wireframes, and prototypes for game features.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, developers, and subject matter experts to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience.
- Conduct playtesting and user feedback sessions to iterate on game designs.
- Ensure game designs meet accessibility standards and are inclusive for diverse user groups.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in game design, gamification, and emerging technologies in the medical field.
- Contribute to the overall vision and strategy for game development within the company.
