Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gas Engineer to join our operations team. The Gas Engineer will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all gas systems and related equipment within our printing and publishing facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial gas applications, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of all industrial gas systems, including compressed air, nitrogen, and other process gases.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on gas storage, distribution, and utilization equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to gas supply, pressure, purity, and safety.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies regarding gas handling and storage.
- Monitor gas consumption and identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
- Develop and implement safety training programs for personnel working with gas systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and gas inventory.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of gas systems with production processes.
- Respond to emergency situations involving gas leaks or equipment malfunctions.
