Role Summary: The General Insurance professional will be responsible for developing and managing insurance strategies that protect the assets and operations of SMAC and its clients within the law enforcement and security services sector. This role requires a deep understanding of insurance products, risk assessment, and claims management, tailored to the unique needs of the security industry in India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify insurable risks associated with SMAC's operations and client projects in the security sector.
- Develop and implement comprehensive insurance policies, including general liability, professional indemnity, cyber insurance, and asset insurance.
- Liaise with insurance brokers and providers to negotiate terms, premiums, and coverage.
- Manage the claims process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, documentation, and resolution.
- Provide expert advice on insurance matters to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Stay updated on relevant insurance regulations and industry best practices in India.
- Conduct regular reviews of existing insurance portfolios to ensure adequacy and cost-effectiveness.
