Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a Master of Commerce (M.Com) degree and 2-4 years of experience in the general insurance sector to join our team within the Engineering & Construction domain. The ideal candidate will contribute to the financial operations and risk management aspects of our large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the analysis and management of various general insurance policies relevant to construction projects, including but not limited to, construction all risk (CAR), erection all risk (EAR), and professional indemnity insurance.

Support the claims processing and settlement activities, ensuring timely submission of documentation and liaison with insurance providers and legal teams.

Conduct preliminary assessments of insurance needs for new project phases and assist in the procurement of appropriate coverage.

Maintain accurate records of insurance premiums, policy renewals, and claim histories.

Collaborate with project finance teams to understand the financial implications of insurance costs and claims.

Stay updated on general insurance regulations and market trends relevant to the engineering and construction industry in India.

Prepare periodic reports on insurance portfolio performance and risk exposure.
