General Surgeon - Leather Sector

We are seeking a dedicated General Surgeon with 2-4 years of experience to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the health and safety of our workforce within the leather manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will leverage their B.Tech/B.E. background to understand the industrial processes and potential health risks associated with the leather industry, providing comprehensive medical care and occupational health services.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide general medical consultations and treatments to employees.

Manage and treat occupational injuries and illnesses specific to the leather industry (e.g., chemical burns, skin conditions, musculoskeletal issues).

Conduct pre-employment and periodic medical examinations.

Develop and implement health and safety programs in line with industry regulations and company policies.

Collaborate with the EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) department to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.

Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.

Educate employees on health, hygiene, and preventive care measures.

Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid.
