Geo Technician

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Geo Technician to join our dynamic team. The Geo Technician will be responsible for conducting site investigations, analyzing geological data, and providing technical expertise to support our infrastructure projects. This role requires a strong understanding of soil mechanics, geology, and relevant surveying techniques to ensure the successful and safe execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field investigations, including soil sampling, rock coring, and groundwater monitoring.
- Operate and maintain geophysical equipment for subsurface investigations.
- Analyze laboratory test results for soil and rock properties.
- Prepare detailed geological and geotechnical reports, including recommendations for foundation design and earthworks.
- Interpret geological maps and subsurface investigation data.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards during site operations.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to address geotechnical issues.
- Perform quality control checks on field and laboratory data.
- Assist in the development of site investigation plans and methodologies.
