Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Geo Technician to join our team. The Geo Technician will be responsible for acquiring, processing, and analyzing geospatial data to support various projects. This role requires a strong understanding of GIS principles, data management, and relevant software applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire and collect geospatial data using various methods (e.g., GPS, remote sensing, existing databases).
- Process and clean raw geospatial data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Perform spatial analysis and create thematic maps and reports.
- Manage and maintain geospatial databases.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand data requirements and provide technical support.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in GIS technology and methodologies.
- Prepare technical documentation and presentations.
