Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated Geographic Information System / GIS Analyst with 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will leverage their M.Com background to analyze spatial data, contribute to the development of GIS-based software products, and support our clients with location-based insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of GIS solutions and software products.
- Perform data analysis, manipulation, and visualization using GIS software and tools.
- Contribute to the creation of maps, reports, and spatial databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver effective GIS solutions.
- Support the testing and quality assurance of GIS software functionalities.
- Utilize M.Com knowledge for financial data integration within GIS projects where applicable.
- Prepare documentation and presentations related to GIS projects and findings.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in GIS and the software product industry.
