Job Description
Role Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Geographic Information System / GIS professional with a Doctorate/PhD to join our team in Jaipur. This role will leverage advanced GIS techniques and spatial analysis to support our food processing operations, supply chain optimization, and agricultural sourcing strategies. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of relevant experience and a strong academic background.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement GIS-based solutions for agricultural land suitability analysis, crop yield prediction, and supply chain mapping.
- Conduct spatial data acquisition, processing, and analysis using advanced GIS software and techniques.
- Create thematic maps, spatial databases, and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with agronomy, operations, and supply chain teams to identify and address business challenges through spatial insights.
- Research and apply emerging GIS technologies and methodologies to enhance our operational efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of predictive models for market demand and resource allocation based on spatial data.
- Ensure data integrity and quality control for all spatial datasets.
